Literature Text

Disgusted by her boring life, Danielle decided to one day start an adventure. But this would require preparation.
So she called her best friend, Jenny, to see if she wanted to do all the preparation for her. Jenny unfortunately refused, so Danielle was forced to build a fishing pole out of toothbrushes herself.
After 14 and a half hours of hard work, she realized that the reason the toothbrushes weren't sticking together was that she was placing them three feet apart and singing to them. She tried a different tactic.
She put all the toothbrushes in the kitchen sink and filled it with maple syrup. She watched What Not To Wear as she waited for the demon she'd summoned earlier to come.
The demon arrived while the poorly dressed woman went shopping, and sat down in a nice recliner. Danielle failed to notice and continued drinking the leftover maple syrup.
The demon had never had maple syrup before, so he politely asked to try some. Danielle freaked out and kicked her tv. The demon was confused by this response, but thought he best not ask a second time.
The unlikely pair just stared at each other for a bit before Danielle broke the ice by asking for help with the toothbrushes. The demon kindly explained that his specialty was only in amber, and he had no idea how to deal with unhardened syrup.
He took out his business card and wrote on the back of it the number of someone who could work with anything edible. He gave the card to Danielle, then went to the neighbor's house to watch the rest of the show.
Danielle got out her phone, but the number was written in hieroglyphics. Luckily, her smartphone had a hieroglyphics keyboard option. She dialed and the phone rang 41 times before someone answered.
A familiar voice answered the phone. “Hello how may I be of service?”
“I have toothbrushes in my kitchen sink--”
“I'm sorry darling I can't do anything about that. Bye-bye.”
“Wait!” Danielle hoped the strange woman hadn't hung up yet. “The sink is filled with maple syrup.”
“Darling, why didn't you say that before?”
“I tried to, but--”
“Alright, well I'll be over in about 2 minutes, okay? Okay.”
The phone clicked, leaving a befuddled Danielle wondering what just happened.
Danielle barely had time to put her phone in her pocket before the woman was standing right next to her. She said “I hope you don't mind, I know I'm a bit early. My name is Tuti and I deal in all things edible, nothing else, because food makes the world go round, darling! Now, where is this problem? Ah, yes, yes, very well, maple syrup, back off, I can handle this--” Danielle had shown her to the sink, but quickly stepped back, tripping over the refrigerator in the process.
Tuti didn't seem to notice as Danielle flopped about on the floor like a seal, which was how she checked for injuries whenever she fell. Danielle had realized long ago that the best way to know if you have an injury is to cause one.
Tuti finished quickly and turned around to discover Danielle asleep and severely bruised on the floor. She thought about how stupid humans were and left.
Danielle had her phone on her, so when she woke up a few hours later she called Jenny. Jenny was used to these calls and went over to Danielle's house with a first aid kit, but when she got there Danielle was in the sink with her new fishing pole trying to catch some gummy sharks she'd scattered on the floor.
Jenny carefully stepped over the gummies toward her friend and began treating the wounds, being careful not to disrupt the fishing process. Danielle was rambling on about the excitement of fishing, and how much better it would be if the gummies could swim. Jenny tried to interrupt her to tell her to get out of the sink, but gave up and instead began to help the gummy sharks swim on the tile floor.
Danielle was excited by the gummies and when Jenny made one get caught she flipped out and got out of the sink to go to it instead of reeling it in. Jenny treated more of Danielle's wounds and Danielle ate the gummies, offering one to Jenny who shook her head no. Once finished with the gummies Danielle went up to bed, having had enough excitement for one day. Jenny went over to the neighbor's house to watch tv with the demon.
~kokitkat315 and I wrote this together, each writing a few sentences or so. Pretty much each new paragraph is the next person, and she started it off
